I got out in the water this evening. It was small but very fun. There was a little bit of swell in the water. Every once in a while a waist high wave would come in. Besides the 300 kids in surf camp that don’t look left it was pretty good.

I really wish the camp would teach just a little bit of surf ethics. It would make life so much nicer in the water when these kids get older. All the have to do is enforce it now and it will stick for years to come.

It was enforced by fear when I was a bit younger. Those of you who have lived in Goleta will surely remember crazy Larry. He would throw rocks at us if we dropped in on him. You only made that mistake once. Then you where to scared.
